Rimmel London Wake me up foundation review

Note; My foundation has been well used, it will look much messier than it originally was.

A while ago, I read a blog review about Rimmel Londons, Wake Me Up foundation, and decided to give it a go. I have to say, I really liked this product. Each bottle has SPF 15 mixed into the 30mls provided. I found that the foundation looked nice on my skin, and wasn't to heavy. I found that the shimmer, that was mixed into the foundation, gave my skin a nice radiant glow, while still keeping it natural. The foundation was easy to buff into my skin without looking caked on. If you are looking for a medium-to-full coverage foundation, I wouldn't recommend this, as it has a sheer coverage. I also wouldn't recommend layering this foundation, as it has shimmer, and if it hits the light you may end up looking like a vampire out of Twilight. The only downside about this foundation is the color selection. My foundation is in the color 100 ivory, and is still a tad too dark for my skin tone.

Overall I did like this product, but I would say it suits dry-normal or combination skin, as the shimmer can make oily skin look even more oily than before. Overall though, I do use this everyday as its light and easy to use.

Food truck

Today was one of my great friends, also named Ruby, Birthday dinners. For this dinner we met in town and went out too a rustic, healthy, restaurant called, 'The food truck'. I have too say, I was pleasantly surprised with what I found. I had heard that this place was good, but I didn't expect it too be this good! For my meal, I chose their award winning, 'The Beefroot Burger'. This Burger was made up of pickles, a beef, carrot and beetroot patty, tomato, iceberg, and a yummy sauce. This burger was delicious and didn't leave me feeling stuffed too the brim. If this wasn't enough, it was only $12 and was brought out after only ten minutes, which was spent discussing the unexpected location, in a crowded car park. Afterwards we decided to get an ice-cream  this is where I made the mistake. On the desert menu, they gave you a choice of plain vanilla ice-cream, vanilla and nuts, vanilla and berries, or a mix of both. I originally planned on getting the berry ice-cream, but when it came too ordering, I had heard the nutty one was nice so I went for a mix. Personally  I didn't like this at all and couldn't wait too get too the berry section. That aside, overall I had a great time, loved the food and the prices were amazing. I would recommend The Food Truck, any day.

A little break

Every now and then we all need to put our schedules too the side and enjoy a little day out. This is exactly what I did yesterday! Going out with old friends and grabbing lunch, is a great way to get away and have a little 'you' time. Yesterday I ventured out to Ponsonby Central and grabbed some sushi. I have too say, getting sushi on a hot summers day, might be one of the greatest things. On our journey around Auckland, Michaela and I went too St Lukes, grabbed a milkshake and went too get our nails done. Seeing as we had a lot of catching up too do, walking around the mall and getting makeup sampled on us, was the best way too go. This trip was a great way to get away from my busy life of running around, Christmas shopping. We then went make too her house and relaxed around her bedroom and promised to catch up again soon.
